There are the ones that grow from the ground (terrestrial ones) whether on flat ground or slopes; and there are those that grow on tree branches and tree trunks high above the ground (epiphytes). Irregardless of their inherent preference, all native wild orchids of Genting Highlands are something of a splendor.
Not as colorful and as exotic as their cultivated cousins, the native wild orchids of Genting Highlands are also smallish and their flowers do not last as long as the cultivated ones. Nevertheless, they can be attractive and appreciated in the same manner as their celebrated cousins.
